Samuel Martínez Andrade is an artist and audiovisual producer focused on poetry, transmedia art, live-coding, and performance.
As a transmedia artist, he combines film and photographic elements, as well as experimental 2D and 3D animations (self-produced and found), through modular and analog-virtual video synthesis in software and code. Recently, this has led to linking these experimentations with web or Net Art (and small experiments with AI models). His work and performances have been presented in national festivals such as CutOut Fest, Kerouac, Hay Festival, and internationally in Germany, Spain, and Denmark. Part of his work was included in the selection of Queretaro poets in Trámite, buro de coleccionistas (2020), and in the exhibition “Fiat Lux” at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Querétaro (MACQ, 2020-21).
