PIERRE DUCOS ()

Graduated from Supinfocom and Gobelins schools, Pierre has been working for the last 15 years as a freelance animation director. With several multi award winning short films (True Color, La Detente…), he directed with his friend Bertrand Bey many commercials for many brands (Volvo, Mars, Adidas, Nickelodeon…) at NotToScale Studio.

For the last 6 years, he has also served as supervisor in animated feature films, exploring new ways to mix 2D and 3D animation. After Adama (2014), he worked in I Lost My Body (2019), directed by Jérémy Clapin and produced by Xilam Studio. The film premiered at the International Critics Week section of the Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Nespresso Grand Prix, becoming the first animated film to obtain it in the history of the section. Shortly after the premiere, Netflix acquired the film’s worldwide distribution rights. The film also won the Crystal for Feature Film at Annecy International Animation Festival, as well as the Audience Award.
